Just wondering if it's only me. I'm ready to say ciao to my clinical group. Toward the end it appears there may have been some jealousies and territorial issues that reared their ugly heads. Most of the members of my group are great but I think it's a good idea to work with as many different people as you can. On the whole, I'm ready for a new batch of colleagues. Not that I'll get them. There's a very good chance many of us will pretty much wind up working together again next semester.

How about y'all out there?

Specializes in CICu, ICU, med-surg.

I like the fact that clinical groups rotate. Allows me to meet different people. Plus, it lets you get away from people you might not like working with!

Specializes in School, Camp, Hospice, Critical Care.

Forty eight of us get remixed into groups of 8 each semester.

It's fun. You get to know more people that way.

Specializes in Emergency Dept, M/S.

Do you mind my asking what program you are in? I'm in NH too, going to NHTI now in General Studies, and Rivier in the fall for the ADN program.

Yup, same here....and I like it too! Otherwise, how would I ever get to know the names of the other 47 students in my program?

Oh and Judith's at the tech in Manchester (NHCTC) and I'm at the one in Stratham....since we're friends, I figure she won't mind my answering for her!

Hi, Andrea (didn't I just see you in Micro lab?)

Hi, Whitney--you'll have to let us know how you like the program at Riv :)

Specializes in 5 yrs OR, ASU Pre-Op 2 yr. ER.

This is our last semester working together. Although there's a few that i'll keep in contact with, most i am glad that we won't be doing this again. The backbiting, backstabbing, gossip, etc. was worse than any school or job i've ever seen.

Specializes in Adult Med-Surg, Rehab, and Ambulatory Care.

My clinical group this semester was fantastic. Everyone got along, there were no little "groupings" (you know the type), and there was no back-stabbing, jealous *****iness. We all helped each other out. With the exception of one person (I think) who had to switch sections, this clinical group will be together next semester as well.

Specializes in Rehab, Step-down,Tele,Hospice.

Ditto what LPN2B said.

Specializes in LTC, ER, ICU,.

we all get along fine and help each other out when needed/asked.
