Which is harder - A&P I or A&P II?

Hi guys,

I just completed A&P I last week (got my grade of a B+ today:yeah:) and will be starting A&P II on Monday. Just curious..will A&P II be harder than A&P I?

Also note: I took A&P I during Spring semester..but will be taking A&P II during a 7 week summer session..I know that will definitely affect how the class will be viewed.

Interested in all opinions..thanks!

I think A&P2 was definitely easier than 1. The heart, blood, digestive, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive systems were what we covered in 2. It was much more interesting to me than one and that's probably why it was easier.

A&P II seemed easier, but I think that's because learning how to study for A&P was a constantly evolving process in A&P I. I finally found an efficient and effective way to do it by the end of the term - and carried that into A&P II.

To me A&P1 was harder, nervous system was tough. I liked A&P2 more, did better.

Thanks for all of your replies, guys! I start A&P II on tomorrow. I also found out who my instructor is..and looked him up on ratemyprofessors.com and turns out he had great reviews. Also heard that he's a cutie..so I'm sure that will help too..lol ;)

A&P2 is interesting but it's very hard. However, I think A&P1 was hard when dealing with the chemistry aspect....oh I hate chemistry, lol. I'm going into my last week of A&P2.....ahhhh!

Well, I start tonight! So, I'll let you know how I feel after I get an introduction..

But, I do agree that it all depends on how good the teacher is..a teacher can make or break a class..

Ok..had my first day..A&P II will be harder. There is already so much information..but all crammed into 7 weeks..craziness. Plus..we have 8 exams..there are only 7 weeks!

I mean, on 1 hand..that's good..it will keep me on my toes. But, on the other..that means I will be doing NOTHING but studying for 7 weeks!

It can be done ! I did AP 2 in 8 weeks with 5 Major exams, two lab practicals, and a quiz twice a week ! I got an "A" ... On top of AP I was working and still found time to hang out with my boyfriend, family, and friends. AP 2 gave me an adrenaline rush, and it was a class that I needed to start nursing school. So you can do it !!!! :yeah::specs:
