    Hey Kimecha!
    Nice to meet you.

I am on the same track as you. Starting my program next week (YIKES!!!!) and I am also expecting to graduate in May 2005. That is the plan anyways
I am 36 and have a 12 year old daughter and 6 year old son. I am sure we will see alot of each other in the coming months as we come to the boards for support. Good luck to you!

My name is Ashley and I am 32 with a 3 year old son, a husband and a full-time job (at least for one more semester). I will graduate next summer which is so hard to believe! My next semester starts in another week or so and after having half the summer off, I feel overwhelmed with getting back into the swing of things. Not so much for the classroom part but the clinical part. Hopefully it will all come back to me quickly, like riding a bike....

Good luck to everyone out there!

I have a supportive husband as well and really excited. I think you'll find a lot of support and advice here. This place is just a super resource.

My name is Angela (obviously) and I am 25, married with no children unless you count my 7yo kitty. I am starting a radiography program tomorrow and will hopefully graduate in May 2005 as well. My husband is totally supportive, I think he's just glad that I have finally found something I want to do with my life!

edited to add: I also have a BS in geography which has proved totally worthless and I am tired of working in dead end office jobs.

I am a second career person of sorts. I have a degree in social science that I never used, but I did teach in church child care facilities for about 10 years. Also had a variety of other jobs that were just transient sort of things.

I am 24 and graduated from nursing school (diploma) in 2000. I worked a few years and now am going back for my BSN. My plan was to start in 2002 but something came up and I put it off another year. Since I went to a diploma program I had some prereq's to do. I started them this spring and took more over the summer. I am glad I found this forum, just starting posting today. It looks like a great support system. I have had the same BF since I was 15. I am in no rush (he is a 4 years older) and we will probably get married in the next few years. He is very supportive, I am lucky! Can't wait to get to know you all!

This is my first semester of nursing and I plan to be one of the last standing. I didn't quit my job just to fail or drop out.
