Hey guys! Guess what!!?? I got my letter today saying I got an interview for Thursday of this week!! YEA!!! Tell me, for an ADN program, do they do interviews for everyone applying or do they only give interviews to people who have high chances of being accepted? This is good that I got one, isn't it?

Congratulations! Sorry, have no idea if they do an interview for everyone or not. Good luck!

From the programs I've applied to for ADN, they did NOT give interviews to everyone. They only granted interviews to those who met their initial requirements - had the right NLN scores (or other test scores), had the right HS classes with grades at or above a certain level, maybe had taken some or all pre-req's with success in them, etc. I applied to several schools, and was only granted two interviews. I think the interview process is so you both can get to know each other, the program, and how it will all fit together.
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS!!

Congradulations! That is really great! I am trying to get in an ADN program myself. I see you are in Georgia, so am I! Which school do you go to? I attend West Central Technical College.
Hi! I am in Columbus, going to Columbus Technical College.
So this is a great thing, that I got an interview, right??!!! :chuckle

Congrats!! My interview is tomorrow. I am so nervous. Looking through to find a few common questions. The point is that I am already a nurse in England, so the usual question of why I want to be a nurse would be a bit outdated!!!!
I am trying to be accepted into an AD and I think that the school has already selected some candidates.

Congratulations! My school didn't do interviews (for nursing school, I did have several scholarship interviews though), so I have no advice in that area! Good luck! :)

Good for you! My school doesn't do interviews, but I assume that yours doesn't give them to everyone. I mean, if someone had a 1.5 gpa, certainly they wouldn't interview them! So I would guess that you have a good chance. :)

Congrats and good luck! Every school is different regarding their acceptance procedure, but I would say in your case that being called for an interview is very promising! Go get e'm!!!!
How did the interview go for you?

We didn't do interviews at my ADN program but we had 400 applicants when I was admitted. If your school has as many applicants as we had, I seriously doubt they would interview each and every one of them.
It's got to be a good thing.
