  1. Hi, I believe it is not a bad program. I have my interview tomorrow for the AD course. I recommend, if you have transportation to go to the school personally rather than waiting for the aplication package. Mine never arrived and I got some misinformation that caused me a few headaches!! On the other hand, if this happens, the student services director is great handling stuff and supporting students/potential students. She even called me on my cell to clarify the misunderstanding and all.
  2. Hi, I am taking it on Saturday. I don't know what to expect. I feel I have covered everything. I used Barrons and the NLN Study Guide. Only 2 days and it will be over!!
  3. Hi there, If my memory does not play tricks, I believe Vancomycin is the antibiotic chosen to treat MRSA.
  4. i am glad you all got to do really well!! man, i am so anxious!! The thing is i am a nurse in the UK but i have to start right from the beginning and this is the only chance i have. i don't wanna waste a year to retake it!!! all i do during the day is review vocabulary, formulas (area, volume, etc) and science and i feel i am going to be asked something different.
  5. Thanks Amy and congrats!! Unfortunately, the New York Public Library does not have it so I decided to buy it.
  6. hi, I am new to this site. I am taking the PAX-RN in a couple of weeks. I was recommended the Barron's book (How to prepare for the Nursing School Entrance Exam) but it seems rather easy and I was wondering if anyone is interested in selling the study guide.
