Nursing Students General Students

I'm supposed to do a paper on a famous living nurse...but I can't find anything! All I find are the typical ones, who are dead. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!

OMG! I forgot about her! lol! If that's the case, lol...how about the runaway bride.....you know the one with the huge eyes who pretended to be kidnapped and had to do community service to repay all the police for looking for her.......oh what's her name!!! She was from down south...lol !

When I was in the military back in the 80's there was a Brig General Adamsender or Adamzender something close to that she was in charge of the nurse corp and one of the highest ranking females in the military at the time...very nice lady.

How about Dr Carnegie? She is an African American RN who has been through nursing starting with segregation. I sat with her at NYU just last week and heard how she was one of the voices for black nurses in the very beginning of time. She was the first black nurse to be elected into a black nursing association. She was outspoken and did a lot for African American nursing today as well as nursing today. She is VERY interesting and although isn't practicing, a very good role model for all nurses. Check out her biography here:
