It was cool, the teacher is a PHD ex-missionary to Africa.. pretty wild.
I read your blog and posted a few comments. Good luck in chem..
Thanks for reading/commenting in my blog... it's supposed to notify me every time someone posts a comment, but it's a little buggy and doesn't always.
Fall of 05 (accelerated) or Spring of 06. I'm 25 and not married/no kids. Maybe one day Can't wait to get started with a nursing program.
Good luck Nursepru! I'm guessing since you're applying accelerated that you already have a degree? What's it in?
Sep 2, '03I haven't started classes yet, we start Sept. 15th, so I'm doing fine!
I've got the admission exam this friday & have been practicing math, since that's my toughest subject. I'm not too worried about it though. I'll probably pick up my books while I'm at it. My A&P books are the same, so I'll only have to buy stuff for the NA Training course. Should be around $90 for everything. Not too bad.
Went up to visit my dad & step-mother up in Michigan this weekend with my husband & daughter. Had a good time - weather was fantastic. Walked along Lake Michigan & got to see the Soo Locks, which I'd never seen before. Before we left, my step-mom, who's an MA, gave me a Littmann Master Classic II stethescope that she had been given by a drug rep about 5 years ago & never used! I was thrilled!
Sep 2, '03Yeah I hope to have that nurse diary site done sometime, it may take a lil while, but then we can all have free blogs!
Sep 3, '03I looked at the blog Manna, but I don't get how it works! is it an on-line diary??
Anywho, class is going fine, I will be applying for the Nursing program this week, though I don't expect to get in until next fall because of my points.
I would love to see Michigan amyliz, it sounds beautiful.
Hey agent, what a cool teacher. I LOVE to hear missionary stories. Nice to hear from everyone! Heather

How are classes going for you 06'ers?
My other classe (Computer App. and Sociology) are a cake walk for me while on the other hand I am not fairing to well in Collge Algebra. Is anyone else having trouble in College Algebra?
Sep 4, '03Good going on the A&P exam!
I don't have to take algebra, thankfully. I took College Algebra II & Trig when I got my first degree & that was enough for me.
Sep 5, '03I started A & P 2 on Wed. night. I like my professor he seems like he's going to be challenging...which I love. I thought I was going to have to buy a new A &P 2 textbook (they changed the book last semester)...but I don't think I'm going too. Our first chapter to study will be on Blood. I've read it already and made notes...it's very interesting.
Sep 5, '03I cant wait to take A&P in the spring. There is no 1&2 at my school, its one intensive course.
Sep 9, '03They changed books for A&P I this fall, but are keeping the old edition for A&P II & III this fall & A&P III this winter. Thank goodness. I really didn't want to have to shell out $160 more bucks for another A&P book. Unfortunately for those folks who are destined to repeat A&P I this fall, they've got to buy the new book. You can be sure the rest of us will be even more motivated to not drop the class or fail! (Heck, I set my sights on continuing the 4.0 gpa, myself)
A&P is a really interesting class. Hard as heck, but interesting. This quarter we're learning the muscular system, the nervous system, the endocrine system, reproductive system and the sensory organs.
Sep 9, '03Since I took the intensive A & P course a year ago, the advanced Physio so far is pretty much review. It is soooo nice not to feel totally overwhelmed and lost! I'm sure, it'll get harder later, but I just wish there was a test coming up sooner, so I can see how he tests! I know that sounds a little twisted, but I always am a little releaved after the first exam, so I know how better to study! So far, I'm doing the same thing from last semester.
This is the LAST class I can take to count towards entry points....so I feel like I'm counting down to start in the Fall (next fall that is)! :hatparty:
I just found a 7 week class tho, that I might add. It's math for meds calculations. I think that would be very helpful, don't you? I just don't know if I should take it now or next semester??? hmmmmm . Any ops? Heather
