Acceptance Letter's yet????/

  1. Hi Everyone,
I would just like to start off by saying hello and I think this website is so cool!!!!
I've been on it for a while, but never got around to signing up. Anyway I'm very patiently waiting for my letter's of acceptance from Massasoit and Cape cod community college, and they should be arriving anyday, and I was just wondering if anyone that applied to either of them has gotten their's yet? I did all of my pre-req's and alot of other classes, so I'm praying I get accepted!!

    Good luck to everyone!!:hatparty:

I am anxiously waiting for my letter too. I would have known by now but this is the 1st year my school is using the NET and decided to give one last testing date on April 1st(even though they had already given the "last" test back on March 16) for those who were too confused to figure out when they were supposed to take the darn thing. Soooo, I have to wait for another week or so! AAAGH! This is driving me CRAZY!!!! Hopefully we will get those ACCEPTANCE letters soon!!!!!

Still waiting for mine. They supposedly went out/are going out this week. Today was the first day that I could have possibly gotten it, but a big fat nothing (well, bills).

Good luck to you!! My husband is from the cape - we still have family down there and visit quite a bit. I've heard great things about CCCC.

I've gotten both acceptance letters, and accepted one. I called the other to tell them I wouldn't be attending, plus I pulled my name off of one waiting list for next year.

I think the range is between March and June, for acceptance letters.

    Hi Nursing26,

We took the Entrance Exam a few weeks ago. They said we'd receive something in writing from the school no later than the following Friday about our test scores. What they're supposed to send out isn't an acceptance or rejection letter - just something letting us know if we're still in the running so we can get our physical and get our CPR certification in order (the final part of the admission process). Everything is supposed to be completed by April 16th and they'd be sending out acceptance/rejection letters no later than April 20th.

I called last Friday - they said they were short staffed, but would be sending something out this Monday. Well, tomorrow is Friday and still nothing in the mail from them. With the April 16th deadline coming up - I went ahead and had a "MAJOR" physical last week - Hep. B series of shots was started (part of their requirements). I was in the Military and had a million different immunizations - but didn't have record of all the childhood diseases I received shots for (my Pediatric Doc is long gone) - so my doc. drew many tubes of blood (checking for my immunity to those diseases). My insurance co. doesn't consider that part of a regular physical (so God knows what the extra blood draws will cost me).

I found a Red Cross CPR Course for this Saturday - last one their having before the April 16th deadline - pretty expensive course and a lot of money out of pocket without even knowing if I've been accepted. I'm really Hoping/Praying I get in, but have to say as stressful as all the waiting is - to find out that they didn't have time to send out the paperwork they promised we'd receive "no later than last week" is just compounding the stress. I feel like I'm back in the Navy where their Motto was "Hurry Up and Wait"..

Lucky you! I got an acceptance letter from one nursing school, but I'm still waiting for the UTHSCSA to send me a letter! They sent me a copy of the courses I've completed yesterday.

I got a letter the other day saying that they recieved my application. I was terrified to open the envelope and that is all I got. Anyways, they won't be sending out the acceptance letters until May. I am so nervous about getting in that I will also be applying to a surgical tech program just in case. If I do get an acceptance letter, I imagine I will be so happy that I may just have to frame it and put it right up next to my associate degree!
