Did you have to write essays in A&P I? I am curious because the prereq for this course is English 101.

If so, on what subject and how many pages?

Didn't have to in my class but I would think that all schools are different.

I'm taking A&P this summer. We were told by our professor that he doesn't give essays but he is considering us giving a speech instead. He is currently debating on weither he's going to or not. Personally I hope not. Ugh!

All schools are different. :)

We don't have any essays, or speeches (Thank God!).

We didn't have to write essays. My guess is that you won't, but you never know.

I think some of these kinds of threads belong in pre-nursing???

Many people don't take A&P before nursing school, and take it right along with their nursing classes.

Plenty of essay questions on the exams at my school, answersing the question seem like writing an essay!

I don't. It seems to me that the pre-nursing forum is for people who are debating whether or not they want to enter nursing school. I think any questions about classes taken in the process of becoming a nurse belong right here.

I had to write a 5 page report on a disease of our choice and then give a 10 presentation to the class. Only essays were small ones on the tests.

Actually it says in the description that it is for people who want to become a nurse. I wasn't being snide, it just seems that questions about algebra and AnatomyI usually mean pre reqs and should be shared with others doing their pre reqs --clinicals and nursing related issues seem more consistent with student nurses. Honestly, who cares --I just wrote it quickly cause it seems a lot of threads are about pre-nursing concerns but if everyone feels the two overlap and shouldn't be segregated then that's cool.
