Where do you nurse, hospital/homehealth/hospice/nursing home/ clinic?

Second question what is your speciality?

Me, I work in a clinic where we deal with cancer patients from dr visits to chemo therapy and everyrthing in between and beyond.

Specializes in ER, ICU, Infusion, peds, informatics.

a 12 bed surgical ICU and home health -- it gives me perspective

Hospital, cardiac/medsurg unit with floats to the ICU every now and again

I worked in Long term care for 18 years, tried hospital nursing for three and a half years and hated it, returned to long term care. Unable to work now d/t failed back syndrome. Miss it horribly. When in LTC worked as floor nurse, DNS, charge nurse and finally as MDS nurse.

Specializes in Specializes in L/D, newborn, GYN, LTC, Dialysis.

120-bed hospital; perdiem; Labor/delivery, Post-partum, mother-baby, GYN surgical. I do all these things; sometimes in one night.

Work on the floor at a 60 bed nursing home. Prior to this was in their locked dementia unit for 2 1/2 years.

I currently work in a large level I ER/trauma center.

Have also done three years surgical IMC, six years surgical/open-heart surgery/trauma mixed ICU and nine years coordinating research studies.

Hope to go on to be ER NP.

Hospital, LARGE suburban hospital, PCU.

Currently in a 150 bed LTC facility. I hope to move on to OR soon.

Hospital, currently in a cardiac/IMCU unit. Considering my options of weekender, maybe a little agency and then move to warmer climate!

260 bed skilled nursing facility. We also have a 20 bed HIV/AIDS unit within the facility.

School nurse in a middle school. I really love the kids and the hours. Great Job!
