BAD IDEAS, But they work for the short term:
1. ETOH of choice, PO. Titrate for effect.
2. Benzo of choice. Never mix with #1.
Seriously, either of the above will work in the short term. But overall, the key to stress management is what works for you.
Exercise.
Sleep. Lack of sleep can really hurt you and makes the bad...worse!
Good food.
Hydration.
Time out.
Massage.
Laughter.
A good book.
Pets. A cuddly kittie or loving lab can take you from yourself.
Sex. Having sex 4-5 x a day leaves me little time for stress or complaining.
Bottom Line: Just do what makes you feel good. Sounds simple, but it will work. Your life will be better for it.
REMEMBER: Before you can care for others you gotta take care of yourself!
Choose to be HAPPY! :) :) :)
Update: Thankfully, I had the luxury of a 4 month vacation and I am now back at "work". I find myself in a position that I am grateful to be in. No, the stress is not out of it. It is a different kind of stress and I work EVERYDAY at making my life what it can be. I am feeling a bit blessed these days and in complete wonder of just how wonderful things can work out!
