should I call or wait

I had an job interview with DON last week and she said it will be this week before she makes a hiring decision. Is it okay to call the nurse recruiter and ask her if she made a decision or should I wait?

If she said it would be this week (Meaning Monday-Friday) before she makes a decision, I'd wait until Friday before calling.

I'd wait until Friday too. It's hard to wait, but wait and call friday morning if you haven't heard anything.

If you haven't already sent a thank you e-mail, send one and say you'll be calling her on friday to follow up. Then call. I've found if I don't have the job I get voice mail and they never call back. If I do have it, they call me back.

E-mail??? Try an actual thank you card. Something tangible... something that doesn't get lost in cyber-space.

Much better to have something physical they have to look at. Harder to get rid of than a simple mouse click to delete.

You just might make a lasting impression since they have your name in-hand, not a reference in an e-mail.

Email to make sure they get it quick. AND a small thank you card in the mail. In this market, go all out.
