On-Line RN-BSN Programs: Which would u chose?

I want to finish my degree, but there are SO many on-line programs out there, that I get overwhelmed trying to figure out which is the best one. So far, I have looked into:

-Kaplan University

-Chamberlain

-University of Phoenix

Has anyone enrolled in any of the above? Which would u recommend?

Is there a better (more cost-effective, less pre-req's required, quicker program, ease, etc) that u would recommend?

Would I be better off going to an on-campus program? (Benedictine University has a program with College of Dupage that offers a BSN completion at state price).

Not sure of which way to go!!! :bugeyes: Ugh

I am doing mine online, but at a state university (cost a WHOLE lot less). If all goes as planned, I will only have to go there twice (once for orientation and once for graduation).

You could check out where I'm going...University of Michigan-Flint. Completely online.

I did University of Phoenix for both a BSN and MSN and was very happy with the education. Lots of $$ but very flexible.

There are SO many.

Before you commit to one of the private on-line programs look into Illinois' schools. I'm in NY and there are at least 5 SUNY on-line programs I know of, at the in-state rate of $181 a credit.

A google on "illinois university nursing online" turned up Northern IL Uni and Illinois Uni at Chicago Nursing, both online.

I am getting ready to start an on-line BSN program in Jan. I choose Chatham University ( http://www.chatham.edu ). I chose it because all of my classes transfered, I get a discount through my employer, and I'll only need 8 classes total to graduate. It is a more expensive program ($650/credit), but the employer assistance and reciprocation agreement with my school makes it totally worth it.

East Carolina University. It's $99/credit hour for in-state.

I used to live in North Carolina..the tuition is soooo cheap down there, I'm kicking myself that I didn't get my advanced degree while I was in state. :-(

I'm already lining things up to begin the RN to BSN program at Old Dominion University next fall after I finish my RN in May. It is completely online also but like others said I am in the same state as the school which makes a difference for tuition
