No RN Jobs Anywhere....Help!!

I graduated in Dec 2009 and passed the boards in Feb. I'm so stressed out cause I have been applying everyday since then and have only gotten one interview and no job offer. I live in the Greenville area but would be willing to move to anywhere in SC, NC or a last resort Georgia. Do you know if anyone is currently hiring and i'm just looking in the wrong places or doing something wrong? Also, do you think this may change soon?

You could try CaroMont Health in Gaston county. I saw a Nurse Grad Externship program (or something like that) on their website.

I should be starting clinicals next spring at Gvl Tech. Did you have a CNA job or any other job in the area? I know from others that the job market is tough here but just one question. I everyone who graduated last Dec having just as hard of a time as you are?

Have you tried local nursing homes? BTW many don't have websites you just go in

and fill out a application. Even if that's not your first choice - anything at this point would be good. What about the Charlotte area? Can you move?

Try for some private duty nursing. It may not be your dream job but they are always needed.
