How long did it take you to get NCLEX results?

I took NCLEX on the 27th of February and I'm freaking out. I do not have the results yet. When I go to BRN website, my name doesn't come up with permanent license verification, does it mean I have failed? I had 160 questions and have been having anxiety attacks and nightmares since I have taken the test. I've been told it takes 2-4 weeks to get results. How long did it take you to get yours?

Can you pay for the rapid result? Remember that 9 out of 10 US educated pass the first time. Statistically you have very good odds..

Hang in there, and let us know when you find out that you passed.

Thank you. How do you pay for rapid results?

I'm not sure where you are from, but I know in California they don't do rapid results. Good luck!

I got my result within a day by checking the website of my state board of nursing. I paid about $3 to get the result. I took my test through Pearson Vue so I can also check on their website by paying approximately $12.

I'm from California, so I guess, I have to suffer!

Took the week about a week before you so I only had to wait four days in CA. I would keep busy while you wait and look for a job. Good luck.

I took mine on a Monday morning and finished in 45 minutes and it was posted around noon the next day, Tuesday. A few of my friends had to wait as long as 2 weeks. Most of them, however, found out within 2 to 3 days.

I'm in Virginia where we do not have quick results but I got mine in 24 hours. You can call the board directly and ask if they have a license number for you. Try that before paying anything.

In Delaware we don't have the rapid results, but we can check the BON website and usually it takes about two business days. It took seven or eight days before I got mine and I really thought I failed until my employer called to tell me congratulations. The actual info doesn't come in the mail for 2-4 weeks, so I guess it depends on your state.

Hang in there, the toughest part is not knowing. Once you know, no matter what the results are you can move forward from there and you'll be okay.

I'm in CA and my results posted in 3 days. It can take up to a month in California. Make sure they have right address, SS#, transcripts etc. because that can also cause a delay. Hang in there! Try and keep yourself busy-it was torture for me as well.

I'm in Kentucky and I've NEVER heard of it taking more than 2 days! That's crazy!! Even if you can't pay pearson vue for the quick result, my name was up on the board of nursing with my license number in 2 days. What a bummer!
