Whoa, Stargazer! Read the entire thread. Suzy has stated quite clearly on this thread that she has a right to her and her husband's child Media. Maybe it was deleted when she edited some of her posts. But, if she meant this in the hypothetical to argue her privacy rights, and that it's OK to have child Media because the law doesn't have the right to look into her computer, then she needs to clarify that. As for "judging" those who condone, use, store, or argue for child Media under the pretext of "privacy", YEP, you can certainly call me judgemental, because I think it's seriously wrong and morally depraved. It's also against the law.

Leaving this thread now while you all "hack" me to pieces and flame me to your hearts content for questioning some of the really biazzare statements and assertions on this thread.

child Media sickens me. i don't even care for any form of Mediaography. but, i have enough self confidence to allow my hubby to view Media if he chooses and i imagine the same can be said of suzy. Mediaography is legal, and i don't see anything suzy has said here that indicates she or her hubby are doing anything illegal...so, why is she being warned?

again, our beef is with invasion of privacy. we're not endorsing the protection of pedophiles, just the right of protection against illegal search and seizure.

i like to know the answer to this question too tracy!!! the point that susy was making was that illegal searches of people's private computer files is wrong. at the time she made this point, she didn't have knowledge that this guy had in fact uploaded 1,500 pics & post several of them on his website. all she was saying by bravely using her husband's unfortunate experience with some files being downloaded that he himself didn't want downloaded. now people seem to want to tar & feather poor susy about it...that's not right nor is it fair. everyone here is intelligent enough to know what she was saying...she doesn't need to be bashed about her husband's experience. enough said - moe.

look, i have been following this thread allalong..i do not recall susy saying she adnher husband willingly had kiddieMedia..as ii recall, she said that it occ came through their newsgroup and that it was deleted on a daily basis...

i do not recall her condoning kiddieMedia..her gripe was with the privacy right/big brother issue-thingie-mabob...

seems people are wanting to hang suzy out for her psots whenthey have not fully read them...

Thank you, Sunny, I was just about to post the same thing. Just because I have not posted 'til now doesn not mean that I haven't been following the thread, in real time, and nowhere did Susy state that she or her hubby knowingly or deliberately downloaded CHILD Mediaography. To now claim that she edited this out of her posts is inaccurate, misleading, slanderous, and, what's the word?

She never posted that they wilfully downloaded child Mediaography. Subjects like this are always going to have heated debate...but this has gotten very nasty. Personal attacks are inappropriate.

Youda, I am sorry, but you need to STEP BACK! I have read this thread and quite frankly, you are missing what she has said. She stated that IF there is any child Media on her computer it was sent in a newsgroup WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE.

Of course I do agree with you that child Media is wrong, just so there is no confusion and you accuse me of condoning it!

Thank you everyone for your public defense. It's refreshing to know that this uncalled for and harrassing public accusation is in the wild, probably medicated, mind of ONE disturbed person,and not the greater population.

I never said my husband and I participate in child Media, and everyone knows this. To accuse me of this simply speaks volumes about the accuser's lack of substance to any of her arguments here. And I will remind you, that threats made here against any members of allnurses are not tolerated.
