Diet Coke Commercial: Nurses are Extraordinary

Hey fellow nurses, if you were creating a massive new ad campaing called "stay extraordinary" and wanted to show "extraordinary people doing extraordinary things" would you choose a nurse--Diet Coke did for their awesome ad!

Enjoy:

Nice commercial -- but why'd the nurse turn on the light and wake up a clearly sleeping baby? If she's so extraordinary, she should know better!

Lol -- good catch NICU nurse!

I'm on the fence about implying that Coke is a healthy product by including a nurse with the product. 100% for nurses, maybe 20% for Coke.

Oh, I dunno........I'm a nurse, and I am positively addicted to Diet Coke! So I rather liked it. :)

If it were Pepsi I'd probably feel better about it.

Same here -- it got me through nursing school, and now it's my best friend on night shift! :D

In double blind tests 2/3 to 3/4 of people prefer taste of Pepsi, yet Coke outsells it. People have done all kinds of surveys and masters theses about this, best the can figure is the guttoral or primal design of the Coke logo's. Sorry, been watching too much TV lately. Now if they'd just come up with an IV form........

I don't have a problem with our craft being in a coke commercial. Yes, if you drink it by the gallons it is not healthy for you. But lots of people out there have it once a day, maybe even less, and have no issues with it.

Its people like me who use it all night to stay awake who have issues. lol I'm working on that.

Truth be told, I like both. For some reason though, it is when I am at work that I appreciate Pepsi more. IDK why.

I have two Coke shirts in my wardrobe. Nice looking, thats why I bought them, not to advertise Coke. I wore it to school one day and the Pepsi driver happened to be parked at the cafeteria. He stopped me, "This is a Pepsi school, you have to walk off campus to get your drink." I explained to him that I wore the shirt more for the looks than for product loyalty. He told me to meet him at the same place, same time in three days. I did.

He had, oh, it must have been at least 12 Pepsi shirts, most of the "one size fits all" variety, some really large ones. He told me to keep one for myself and pass out the rest. So I did. Took them to theory class and handed them out.

Gee, Pepsi loyalists are so fanatic. Some people who didn't get a shirt so they went out and bought one. There were days where close to half the class had a Pepsi shirt on it seemed. And, of course, typical of me, I continued to wear my Coke shirt..........it just looks good.

I prefer Coke Zero myself

Truth be told, if I had to settle down on only one soft drink to have for the rest of my life, it wouldn't be either.

RC Cola, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Tom Tucker Mint Ginger Ale and Arizona Green Tea...............it'd come down to one of them.
