I graduated at age 30. There were quite a few "mature" students in my graduating class!

Graduated at 42, 75% of my class was my age or older. We did have one that was 19 when we started.

I'll be 39 when I graduate my LPN school. And 40 when I get my RN!

I started out in nursing school in the late 80's as the traditional student (just graduated high school).

My class of 38 the average age seems to be around early 30's. We have some really young ones (18, 19 yr olds) and a few that are a tad older than me.

I will be 27 when I complete LVN training...but I already have a BA degree. Hope to start an alternate-entry MSN in a few years and have that by age 32.

I was 18 when I went to LPN school in 1988, 19 when I graduated from that. Went back for my RN at age 34 and finished that at age 37. Seems most of my classmates were anywhere from mid-twenties on up. Several of us thirty-somethings this time around it seemed.

When I graduate I will be 27. I dont think I could have done nursing school when I was younger, too immature and wanted to party.

I am going to be 40 y/o this June and start school in August. I should finish in May of 09 so I will still be 41 for 2 weeks after that; I will be 42 before I NCLEX and find a job though. I will be very, very happy !

I just graduated this May with my ADN. I am 36 years old (will turn 37 this summer). My class was mainly women in their 30's-50's with a few in their 20's (and 2 sweet young men in their 20's).

I was 27 when I graduated in 2003. I would say about 1/3 of my class was my age or older, there were a lot of people who were coming in nursing after doing other degrees or as a second career.

I graduated with my BSN at the age of 22 - in 2002. My mom went to nursing school and got her LPN around 22-23 in the 70's.
I always did think I did things different from most of the other new grads! I am glad that I went when I did - life gets more complicated as you move on!

I'll be 28 when I finish next year. The majority of my class are older than me.
