I saw a nurse on TV who had lost her job due to St Francis main going out of business. She was being interviewed by reporter. She said, "Everyone keeps telling me I will have no problem getting job. I don't want just a job, I want a job where I look forward to getting out of bed and going to work everyday. Just like I had here for the last 20 years.":nurse::kiss

That's Powerful!!!!
Anyone that has ever been displaced from a job knows that you loose something when you are let go from a job that you really like or work with people whom you like. You loose a little piece of yourself or your work ethic.
Like she said, it's not ok to just "find another a job". It's not the same.

It takes a long time to heal from the hurt of the closure of a workplace where you have a long and satisfying history. It's been 4 years since my hospital closed and while I work for the same company with some of the same people, it's just not the same and all of us are still wistful for what we had there.
The real problem with any loss is that life goes on whether we're ready for it to do so or not.
