So... I've been paying attention lately to how long people have been hanging around on this BB and it's made me wonder. When did this BB start? Looks to me like the oldest member is (was) Rick. ... Read More

Darn! Look how fast this thread is filling up!

Don't ever allow pop-ups. It will forever change the wonderful oasis that this site represents.

On-line store huh..............that fits nicely. Now if you can just get some groceries in there and maybe a captainschair with a commode and a microwave then I'll never leave my frickin' office!

I'm an Allnurses addict, I love to read and think of you all as friends. I can imagine working alongside some of you and having some of these great discussions in person. Lurking sounds like I'm doing something evil, so can we just consider me a "shy, but interested member of the community?:imbar

As a nurse wanna be, I just want to join in with the others and tell you how terrific this site is! I have learned so much from you and all of the others on here and feel like I have my finger on the 'pulse' of nurse happenings even though I don't work as a nurse just yet.

Thanks for sharing the history, too. I'm glad you stuck with your 'little hobby'.

    Have a good one!

Thanks Brian for the hx on this site. Though I am a newbie to computers, I was turned onto this site by a fellow nurse and am truly grappling with "addiction issues" here. After a long evening at work, what is the first thing I do when I come home at midnight? After letting the dog out, turning out the light in the boy's room and kissing the girl, closing the door to our bedroom and putting the dishes away, of course, is go to this site and read. Most times I'm too tired to make a reply, but I glean such valuable info from here, that I go to bed composing replies, and hope I remember them in the morning. Thanks again for being here. Can't wait 'till my new GIGANTIC coffee mug and tote bag arrive-I will be the envy of all my nurse friends.

This IS the best site on the internet for nurses. I've learned much from everyone who posts. This site has come a long way. Can't remember when I signed up, but I remember it being way different than it is now!
Thanks, Brian. Even though I don't post much, I still come to "hang out!"
