Hello Everyone,

I know it is extremely early in the year but, the May deadline will be here before we know it. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there applying for GCU specifically in Tucson but, also in phoenix. I want to hear your experiences with the application process and the new Hesi A2 exam. I am planing on taking my Hesi A2 at the end of March.

Those of you at Banner Boswell: classes start on Tuesday right? My schedule from Boswell Orientation shows Tuesday, but online it says Monday. Also, do we need to wear scrubs for pharmacology lab? Thanks!!!

I'm starting Block 1 at Banner Boswell and it is my understanding that classes start 8 AM Tuesday morning. I thought about the scrubs for Pharm lab, after seeing the note the instructor had on the class calendar that we have to wear full scrubs for lab. However, I also recall them telling us at orientation that they wouldn't require it until Thursday's lab...(and some of the gals are certain they said the second week of school...) So I am going to wear street clothes, but have my uniform in the car just in case....HTH.

Oh, and one more thing...to anyone at Banner Boswell. Does it appear that we have assignments due the first day of school to anyone? I am looking at the calendar for Pharmacology and it looks like we have to complete a few modules and print off proof of this to turn into instructor prior to the first lab. Anyone else see this?

Thank you very much for the info! You're smart for bringing along the scrubs. Hopefully mine will come tomorrow. Fingers crossed... As far as the assignment, your guess is a good as mine. I am unable to find the assignment. Arrrgggg. I am going to have to spend some time reviewing the calendar. I put off looking at it because I thought we would be reviewing it on the first day.

You guys are freaking me out.. My calender on Loud Cloud doesn't show anything for any days...?? There are things listed for each class under "courses and "syllabus".. and that's scary to look at for each week.. but there aren't any dates listed...??

Guess we will all know tomorrow what the drill is... YIKES!!.

It's posted on the main page under the instructor's announcements. For pharmacology she posted a calendar there that she wants us to follow. Let me know if you see it and what you think..

Go to the section for each class on the front page labeled "announcements". That is where the instructors introduce themselves and post things they want us to take a look at. That is where I found the calendar that was broken down by dates.

The way it reads to me is that the modules are due before the pharmacology skills lab on Friday. It's our "ticket" to lab. BUT - there is a Tuesday NSG307 Lab, but it is not called a "skills" lab on our schedule. I guess we should work on getting it done today to be safe.

Also, it says in red that scrubs are required for Tuesday's lab. I hope that mine come in today.

I saw that about the scrubs, which is what totally threw me off. ugh... Also, I think that Friday is Pharm lecture only. The skills lab is an open lab time the rest of the day friday to practice anything that needs practicing.

Good luck to all! We are required to wear our scrubs from day one and had reading and skill videos assigned due by Tuesday as our ticket to lab on Wednesdays lab. I also saw the syllabus with a breakdown for each week but no actual due dates.
