Not breaking HIPAA here, b/c I didn't care for these children. These are all actual babies who were actually named these, as published (with parental permission) on my local hospitals' nursery websites a few years ago.
This is a compilation of unusual names I gathered from less than six months' worth of births, too, and only from two local hospitals. Also, there are no last names here, so when you see a really long name, keep in mind that you need to add "Smith" or "Jones" or "Johnson" or "Washington" or "Frederickson" or some other last name to fill it out. Some of these kids probably spent most of kindergarten, first, and second grades just trying to memorize how to write their own names!
Also, where it says "baby boy" or "baby girl" at the beginning, that is not part of their name -- that is just my own notation that I started making as I compiled the list, since it's not always evident from the name whether the child is male or female.

Jailyn (I get that it was supposed to be a version of "Jaylyn" but who wants a daughter with "Jail" in her name?)
My friends have a baby whose legal first name is "Rocky"
My favorite celebrity baby name is John Mellencamp's son "Speck Wildhorse"
Bam Bam. Yes, Bam Bam. No words.
I know of sisters named "Princess" and "Precious."
Baby named Shithead. Pronounced chi-theed.
Carmah. A weird way of spelling karma. As if karma isn't a terrible name in its own right.
QuoteNoooooooo! Can't be. Poor kid!
Honestly I don't believe anyone is named ***, la-a, lemonjello, orangejello, female, abcde. Let's not post the same urban legends over and over again like the other thread.
Yes those are names of urban legends and had I not seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. It was recent immigrants and their spelling may have been off because of that. But thank you for questioning my post.
Our neighbor's grandsons are named Cooper, Goodrich, and Michelin. So help me! I can't wait until they start going to school. Cooper and Goodrich are family names, but Michelin??
I have too many to list, but one of my favs was diarrea ( yes diarrhea minus the h) it was pronounced D-R-E-UH. Oh yes and cymphony and sincere for a boy..
I've seen the name The-ia, pronounced Tha DASH ia. What are parents thinking?
I have a friend that teaches Grade 8. She had a student named Bunny Delight. And she was a ditzy blonde. How nice. They gave her a stage name.

As many of you know by now, Kim Kardashian had her baby. As if you couldn't miss all the annoying coverage over every single detail. They named that poor kid North West. What are some of the funniest/weirdest/most unusual baby names you have seen? Could be a patient or someone you know in your personal life. And if you are someone with one of those odd names did you just learn to live with it or would you change it.
