Well the Harvest Moon really stirred things up on my floor Monday night- it was absolutely and completely insane. Who am I kidding- the entire hospital was sheer madness!
Did anyone else experience the Monday 'lunacy'?

Yep- pt behavior confirmed it.
Seems the big harvest moons bring out more of the worst!

This whole week has been a mess. Floors are full. Welcome to the fall. *le sigh*

I didn't even know it was a full moon on Monday- that explains it! Only worked a 4 hour shift and it turned into an 8 hour in no time. Ugh

Same here, our ER was busting out of the seams with Psychiatric issues!

Full moon=craziness
My non-nursing friends don't believe me when I tell them a full moon correlates to increased madness among patients. I'd swear by it though. Especially with sundowners!

I find that it is worst the week leading up to the full moon. The night of the full moon is when ethings actually start to die down. It always a long week to get there though.
