FSU Accelerated Spring 2012 hopefuls!

Hi All,

I wanted to start a thread for the students applying to FSU in Spring 2012. I graduated from FSU in 2006 and am hoping to go back! Good luck everyone!:yeah:

When I spoke with them last week the woman said they would know within the first-second week of October. I am getting really anxious, but there is nothing to do but wait...

Me too! The anxiety is building. This is all I dream about!! Hopefully we will know soon! Have you applied to any other schools just in case? I know USF and UCF have a great program!

I am waiting to hear back from FSU, which I really am not too hopeful about now, but still crossing my fingers and waiting :uhoh21: If I don't get in there then I am going to apply to UNF, USF, UCF, FAU, and UF for the summer (pretty much all of the in-state public schools). Waiting 5 more months won't kills me... Really, we are lucky Florida has so many options if #1 doesn't work out.

Yea I agree. I am still hopeful. Why aren't you? I guess it is hard to tell because you don't know who you are competing with. I think they take everything into account and your resume can really help you. I also am

Applying to USF,UCF and FAU (which is where I am at now. Finishing up my bio degree) but honestly I have heard such great things about FSUs program it is my number one choice. Keep those fingers crossed!

Update! I had my friend goto the College of Nursing and they told her letters were sent out yesterday and 34 people were accepted! Good luck all :)

I know! I cannot wait lol it's driving me nuts. If I get in I'm going up nov 11th to apt hunt.

Has anyone heard anything? I was thinking a letter (good or bad) would be in the mail today, but nothing has come yet....

I got my letter today and sadly I did not get in. Oh well, I am guessing it was b/c I am taking Chemistry right now and even though they told me that wouldn't be a problem, that is all I can come up with. I am disappointed, but know it just wasn't meant to be! Good luck to all of you who did get in! Did anyone else hear anything?

Ugh :( that makes me so discouraged. I'm currently taking patho and they told me it would not be counted against me so I don't think that was the reason.. I have not received a letter yet and I'm dying to know. Where do you live? I love in west palm beach florida. I thought it would be here by now.

yeh, I heard you need to have all pre reqs done to be competitive.. BJ- have you gotten accepted anywhere else?
