I wanted to start a thread for the students applying to FSU in Spring 2012. I graduated from FSU in 2006 and am hoping to go back! Good luck everyone!:yeah:

I am excited about it as well!!! I am wondering how intense it will be. I currently live in Panama City, and will drive the hour or so drive. 3 semesters is a short time to learn a ton of info. Love to hear from some that survived and how intense it was!

Good luck! I'm applying for Spring 2013.

@NewHope, I hope you don't plan on commuting everyday from PC. It's a 1.5 to 2 hour drive just to Tally, plus add time to find a parking spot and get to class. You are looking at a 2.5-3 hour commute one way every day.

I am praying that I get in!!! I live in Santa Rosa Beach and there is NO way I am going to drive that far every single day. You will spend more time in your car than in class! I am planning on moving (that is if I get in) to Tally just for the year and leave my family behind which is going to be hard, but worth it in the end!

Any of you taking Patho right now? OR have taken it through Butler?

I'm taking Patho right know at Santa Barbara City College online. I'm keeping all my notes to reference them while in school!

I am def keeping my book, b/c it has a TON of info in it and I don't really have notes, as my teacher does more outlines than notes & I believe that is why I am struggling in the class. I love Micro b/c my teacher is awesome and makes it fun to learn and wish my patho teacher would do the same!

Michael- I am not sure! I want to go and talk with an advisor and check out the program soon. I have been talking with an advisor via phone & email and she has been very helpful!!! Do you live in FL?

My micro teach was great too! The patho class is online so no interaction with students and I'm worried I'm not learning enough! I've spoke to Calyn at FSU CON and she is great. I'm moving back to Florida tomorrow (with my parents) hehe! Going on a song and a prayer...... I have an interview for CNA at TMH Rehab on the 20th so hope that goes well.

I have been talking to Melinda at FSU and she has been very nice and always answers my questions!

Oh fun!!! You do what you have to do, but that is exciting! Where did you live? I have lived in FL forever and I don't think I will ever leave, b/c my family is here;)

Good luck with your interview! At least you will have a background in the medical field...I have none, other than most of my family works in the medical field, so I am like a deer in headlights...scary!!!!

Does anyone know if for chemistry if a lab is required? I see that it doesn't have that on the prereq's list, but was wanting to see if any of you just took chem by itself or if you took the lab too?
