Hello, everyone!
Since I have not seen one started on this site, I thought I would go ahead and get the ball rolling. This thread is for anyone hoping to get into FSCJ's Nursing Program for the term starting in the Summer of 2014.
Hi everyone. I hope all is going well. Just in case anyone still need some ideas or studying for the NAT, I have a really good pocket book that has a lot of the core concepts of basic biology that I know will be of much help. I got it from the campus bookstore for $6.95 and it is called: The QuickStudy for Biology. It covers cytology, energy & life, cell transport, cell reproduction, meiosis, genetics, origins of life, immunology, etc. I really think it is worth trying. I also have CliffsQuickReview:Biology and Schaum's Easy Outlines : Human Anatomy and Physiology second edition. They all are great books that break down the basic core concepts and helps with memory.
Hey everyone, for those of you studying for the NAT, I found a great website that has ALOT of good FREE stuff. They have a test prep book you can download and they also have online practice exams broken into different sections, for example if you have trouble with biology you can take a practice test on just that, etc. Anywho, its free you just have to register with a user name and password. Here is the link Test Prep Resources - Health Occupations Aptitude (PSB) Exam Prep - CGTC Library Guides at Central Georgia Technical College
Hi everyone! I was wondering if you guys could clarify something for me. I would prefer to get into the n/w class (so I won't have to change my work schedule), but if I don't make the cut for that I would be just as happy to get into the day program. My question is if you don't make the cut for the n/w program will they automatically consider you for the day program or can you only apply for one or the other?

You should mark if you want it considered for both n/w and days but that you prefer days. Good luck!
Hi everyone, I am finally taking my NAT on Monday, I am so so excited to get it over with and apply! I am finishing up my A.A. this spring semester (borrrrrrring), I can't wait for summer! Question:Is there an application fee? Didn't see anything about it in the packet, but I thought there was one for some reason. Thanks and good luck to everyone :)

Hello Amanda, no there is no application fee for the nursing program thank goodness. Best wishes to you on the NAT. :)
Hi all, I took my NAT this morning, I got a 115.2!! I am so excited, I will be applying with 235 points for the N/W program. The NAT was so stressful, even though I normally have low test anxiety.Beatrice- thank you for the information
I can't wait to meet my N/W classmates!:)

Hi Ecopeta, we are glad to have you. I am sorry to hear that you were declined for missing info. I know you probably was very disappointed. Great score by the way. I think you do not have anything to worry about. You may need a higher score to get into n/w, but i am not 100% sure. Either way, I know you will do good. :)
