FSCJ Summer 2014 Hopefuls

Published

Hello, everyone!

Since I have not seen one started on this site, I thought I would go ahead and get the ball rolling. This thread is for anyone hoping to get into FSCJ's Nursing Program for the term starting in the Summer of 2014.

This first time I took it was at North Campus. I am sure this is a mind thing, but my test had to be restarted THREE times. I would get towards the end of the test and when I was press my answer it would say I "clicked out" of the test. It's probably me but it sure affected me. It made my stress level worse because I thought I was going to get kicked out, or this question didn't count or I chose the wrong answer for a question I meant to choose another answer for. I didn't do too well my first time and I hope that didn't add to it. I am taking it at Kent the next time. Did anyone else face any similiar issue with the testing center. I am sure it was my nerves but I just feel better trying a different campus testing center second time around. Thanks MaleCNA84.

Hey Aye_Ne

I took it at Kent & had no problems. Good luck :)

I also took mine at Kent and didn't have any issues.

No issues at South Campus

Thanks everyone! My test is scheduled for January 27th. That gives me one more month to kick butt on my studying. It's been a long journey for me. I pray it pays off. I will post my scores once I take it. Good luck everyone!

you can do it! Just take a deep breath and relax, so you do not be overwhelmed by it. You have been working hard...keep it up and you will see it pay off in the long run. When you take the test, stay calm and do not stress. Take it with confidence that you have seen the material before because you have and pace yourself. Make sure you get a good night's rest the night before and eat a light breakfast if you are taking it in the morning.

Hey!! I'm excited all my classes are done! Taking spring semester off to just relax before HOPEFULLY starting the RN program in summer! I will be applying with a 192.52, and I'm hoping that is good enough to get a seat into nights/weekends! I am taking my CPR class on Thursday and sending off my application right afterwards!!! Fingers crossed and saying prayers for everyone applying! =]
Hi Kate_sivley, where did you sign up to take your CPR class? That is something I definitely can't wait too late to do. I need to look for an open class now. I heard St.Vincents offers a pretty good class. My current card expired back in April.

Thanks Beatrice, we are rooting for each other!

I took my class with Stat life medical training. The website is statlifemedicaltraining.com. The guy who does it was awesome!!

Hi everyone! I'm going to be applying for the Summer Term 2014 with 190 points. I'm hoping to get into n/w but will take days if it will get me in the door. I just have to do my CPR certification and then turn everything in. Exciting but stressful!!!

Hello everyone, I'm new to this post. I applied once before but received a letter saying i was not accepted because i was missing one of the criteria published in the steps to applying, so I'm guessing i forgot to include something in my packet. So this time around I'm making sure I'm crossing my Ts and dotting my Is :-)

oh and I'm applying with 194.32 points, but retaking the NAT just to see if i get a higher score. Goodluck everyone!

I actually have a question, for those who took microbiology at another school, when it posted to your fscj transcript did it say the course equivalent for the lab was just "mcblab" ?
