Hey Troops,

I am bored today ( not that I dont have plenty to do as we all do...) , however I thought I would start us a new thread , hope everyone enjoys and congrats to all and I look forward to meeting you all in Jan along with working with you. Merry Christmas and a Joyous holiday season to everyone likewise..... :yeah:

can someone give me the course ID for the pharmacology course we need to register for? I have the one for the medical terminology course and have registered for it successfully however must have inadvertantly deleted the one for pharmacology...ooh geesh....these other ID's that we received what pray tell are they for anyone know yet?? Thanks so much....

I purchased the white scrubs from Meridy's but the shirt was too small so I am waiting for my replacement. I hope it comes this week. I read in the handbook that the dress code for classes is now our blue polo shirt with khaki pants. So do we wear this everyday including test night? I am in N&W. In the handbook on page 36 under Assignments/Community Volunteer Uniform it says at the bottom that our polo, khaky pants as of Summer 2009 term it is our required classroom uniform. So when do we wear the white scrubs? On our clinical days I am guessing?

I tried looking for it but can not find it anywhere. Each instructor enrolls their students in the course. I went to my FSCJ email and had received the enrollment email but it didn't contain the course ID just a link to connect me to evolve so I can sign in and view the new course. You might have to email your instructor again, just look at your schedule. :)

We have to where khaki pants and the blue polo's to class every day? I must have skipped over reading that.

Based on what the handbook says I believe so. I'm going to email an instructor Monday morning so hopefully they can explain it. When or if I get an answer I will post it here. :)

I must have looked over it too...Melissa thanks for looking for that course ID and checking our "uniforms". I bet everyone else has looked over it too if it is in the handbook. Have a great day everyone and good luck and best wishes to all.

Thanks for emailing a prof. I am curious of what the response is. I was just told by a previous student it was only required on test days. Maybe that has changed now.

So should we all wear the blue polos and khakis on Monday at one for the dosage calc class?

Specializes in Peds.

Still clueless about attire for tomorrow over here too... :( I suppose I can wear the pants and leave polo shirt in my car if I don't need it. Does anyone know about shoes situation? All white and all that or any shoes for tomorrow..?

I emailed one of the professors. Hopefully I get a response back early enough to post it on here for everyone. My class isn't until 6pm so I do have some time until I need to know. I am hoping they cut us some slack for tomorrow but at this point who knows.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. We don't wear the polo and khaki's to school, they are for special functions and when we go the clinical sites for orientation as well as to drop off or pick-up things. This is in your student packet and they stated it at orientation. A fellow classmate was concerned with the dress code as well, so she sent Ms. Emily an email and the response was you do not wear your polo and khaki's on classroom room days, it is normal dress unless otherwise noted. Hope this clears things up and will see you tomorrow at 1:00! :)

Thanks for the info. If you look at page 36 in the handbook it says the khaki pants and polo is our uniform for classes as of SUmmer Term 2009. Maybe this was a typo then...? Well anyways thanks for updating us. I'm sure we will find out tomorrow for sure anyways. :)
