I scanned the threads and didn't see one for this class set up yet. I'm applying at the end of the semester. Anyone else?

Never mind, its not being offered until Fall

Well, it's cut off day! I'm very curious to know how many people applied. :)

I skimmed through last year's spring hopeful thread and they started getting their letters November 12. I hope it's at least that early for us. Till then, I'll be watching nursing vlogs and finishing up DEP2004 and the humanities course I need for my AA.

Please let the time go by quickly!

Good morning, future classmates! I applied for the spring program with 206.28 points..I highly advise taking the NAT twice! I took it mid chemistry and then again mid microbiology and noticed some of the things they were asking were fresh on my mind! I did better the 2nd time around in a few areas which increased my score about 5 points! @Squirmy, thanks for looking through all those threads and finding that magical date! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone! Is anyone else applying that has a young child at home?? My son will be 10 months old when January rolls around. I'm a first time mom and my anxiety is rising just thinking of the nursing workload and a little man running around..I'm thankful I have my husband to help, but it's just not the same..how is everyone else dealing with this? :\

Hope to you guys someday! :)

I have 2! A 4 year old girl and 1 year old boy. Im kinda nervous, but my husband and I have talked about it and we are ready for the challenge! Ive been the kids primary caregiver their whole lives so Im glad my husband is willing to take on the majority of the duties so I can make a better life for us. Just remember, your little guy will thank you one day for the wonderful life u were able to give him as a nurse!

K-Nurse, that's what I keep thinking!! It's good to know there will be some ladies going through the same thing! thanks:):yeah:

Hey everyone :)

Looking forward to hopefully seeing you all this spring in class!

I applied for the Spring term as well. Took Micro & A&PII last semester and got A's in both. Ended up with 103 counted points from the NAT... all in all I ended up applying with 213 points....so I am hopeful, although I am always cautious.

I too have a little girl (3 years) I am glad to see there are some mommies in class as we can have play day/study sessions lol.

UGH! Just can't wait to get the letter so I can breathe already!

Best of luck to everyone! :nurse:

K nurse-one-day,

I always heard the opposite actually... so I am curious what you find out.

She even gave a list of places we could go to volunteer and have people write them for us. I guess it wouldnt hurt to send one in. The worst thing thing they can do is throw it out.

Yes there will be lots of mommies! You definitely wont be alone in that aspect! 213 should be more than enough to get in. you should be very confident in that score. Can you give me any study advice for the NAT? Im taking it to apply for the summer term, and I didnt do very well the first time. I hope to raise my score by about 5-10 points!
