I know this is early, but I am sure there are Fall hopefuls out there for 2011.
Anyone out there yet, or am I just overly eager?
I applied with 212.16 pts for the N/W schedule. I still put days as my second choice (never know, someone might need to switch at the last minute)
I think anyone over 200 is in; question is, "Are there 24 other people, with more points, that want that n/w spot that I am going for?" (that's what I worry about) People like Divinity1118 with '228 point blah, blah, blah...' j/k
I hope we all get in; we have a good vibe going here ]

I hope we all get in. I'm getting nervous because almost everyone's points on this blog are much higher than mine!!! I'm trying to stay optimisitic but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous!!! I'm sure you will definitely get into N/W. This is going to be the longest 8 weeks of my life!!!! :smackingf
NJ, I knew I should've stayed quiet lol I know we are all nervous (I hope I calculated my points correctly! I'd be SOL otherwise) But I have a great feeling about this (the vibe is right), everyone here will make awesome nurses. I'll take a guess that letters will start coming in the middle of July
Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, but a long time reader. I applied last week with a total of 202 points. I'm so excited but I know there is a loooonnnnngggg wait ahead of me!!!! It looks like most of you guys are all going for n/w. I'm going for days but will take whatever they give me, although I don't think days wiill be a problem!!! All of you who are going for n/w, would you accept days if n/w are full or would you wait for the next semester? I'm looking forward to spending this summer with my 3 boys as I know I won't be able to spend much time with them for a while if I get in.
I completed Micro Spring 2011 (hybrid) and received an A in the course. I enjoyed Micro. As long as you have time to read and review your material, and participate in lab, you will be fine.
I was contemplating waiting until the spring to apply, but I had the urge to just go for the NAT on May 31st! I took the exam and turned in my nursing app for the fall on the same day! It was a leap of faith because I had not been studying for the NAT, I just decided not to be afraid of the test and to trust I had the ability to do well. In the areas that are scored I was in the 94th, 94rd and 99th percentile (I was able to add 112.67 to my GPA points)! The test is most definitely about time! It is very straight forward after you have completed all of your pre-reqs. I must say the spelling section is interesting, I saw words I had never seen before, but sometimes you can just tell if a word isn't spelled right! I can't wait for these 8 weeks to pass by! My advice is, don't fret about the NAT (if you haven't taken it yet)! Take it with confidence! Best of luck to all Fall 2011 hopefuls!
ready2b-by chance did they tell you how many applicants there werre for fall term?
Emgray, I called on June 1st to find out how many applicants there were and they said 405 but they had more applicants to add to the system. I'm thinking it will be around 500 this year. I also asked if this was the highest applicants ever applied and they said no, one year they had over 600 applicants.
Can everyone share what their points are please? Im at 201.80 and worried it might not be enough. However I want days so hopefully I will be fine. It wld be horrible to come this far and not make it with points over 201.
I am applying for days, my points equated to 207.67. I am hoping that will be fine as well. I know someone who had a 202 and got in this summer, they seemed to have had a cutoff of around 197 according to her. So I figured having over 200 should give any of us a good shot for the day program. I am extremely hopefull because I really want to be a nurse, its been in my heart for years. After 2 layoffs in 6 months...I just really believe it is finally my time to pursue my passion! Best of luck to those of you applying for those N/W spots! And best of luck to those of us awaiting decisions for the Fall 2011 day schedule!:)

500, wow! I'm starting to get nervous again. Thanks for checking on that.

I think I'm the only one who hasn't shared points, but I applied with 228.36 for n/w only.
