Hello everyone, I did not see a post for the fall 2014 semester, so I wanted to get it started. I applied to the 2014 summer semester and now I am waiting on my acceptance or denial letter. I am starting this forum just in case i do not get in for the summer. My total score right now is 169.96. I have 97 points for my classes and 72.96 points from the NAT. I am currently taking statistics and humanities, in hope of getting an A in both of them to boost my score up to 178.96. I made a C in A&P 1, my first humanities class and PSY1012. I also made a B in college algebra and that is what got my score down so low. I hope that the low cut off score trend continues to give me a good chance of getting in. The last 3 semesters were 175.96, 187 and 187. I am preparing to retake the NAT in late May to be in time for the June 1st deadline with plenty of time to study for the NAT. I look forward to meeting you all, and hear how things are going for you, so we can encourage and support one another.
Orientation lasts one day. They may know the date for it already but things can also change at the last minute. I'll give you the dates we had and you can try to make an estimate if they don't have that information for you. We were slotted to begin our semester May 19th and our Orientation was May 2nd. When students arrived on May 2nd for Orientation, they were told that classes were beginning May 12th instead. So originally, the Orientation was set up about 18 days before classes began but ended up being 11 days before.
I'm sorry you guys haven't received your letters yet. I will keep my fingers crossed that they come this week.
Hi, I have been following this thread for a few weeks now. I am getting more and more anxious as we wait for the results to come in whether we make it. My score seems to be pretty decent from the others ones I have seen. How do you find out how to calculate the score for Spring 2015 though?
Yea I am assuming that calculating the score for spring 2015 will be different since with the HESI you can only make up to a 100 on any section which will give you a cumulative of 100% whereas the NAT was raw scores which could be more than 100. This is scary since we no longer have prior cut off scores to base entrance into the program. Pray for us spring 2015 applicants cuz it will literally be up in the air who gets in.

Im assuming this is because they are doing all the changes in the nursing department. I just hope the cut off score is where its been and not where it was a few years ago. When I turned in my application I was told August 1st...the application itself says 6-8 weeks but the first week of August is like 9 -9 1/2 weeks which no other nursing school around here takes that amount of time..not to mention the first week of August is still 3 weeks away
