Fresno State Nursing Program (BSN) Fall 2019

I recently applied to several local RN programs, FSU being one of them. Just curious if anyone out there has as well and if you happen to know when we should start finding out if we were accepted. Also any current or alumni, if you don't mind sharing - what were your stats upon entry?

Reading 91.5%

Math 87.5%

Science 70.2%

English 66.7%

I didn’t study at all and I kind of regret it now lol What were yours if you wouldn’t mind sharing?

Hi all! I got my acceptance letter today as well! I already have accepted a seat at West Hills as it is financially and logistically easier on my family and I. I am so happy and proud of everyone! Just knowing I was accepted is a great feeling. I wish you all the best, you'll do great things! ?❤✌

I didn’t study at all and I kind of regret it now lol What were yours if you wouldn’t mind sharing?

I look last year, many people in the waiting list get in. I didn’t like my Teas, I did good with math and science: 97 and 90. But only 52 in English. English is my second language I wasn’t have much time to study for the test. Like one week studied for the reading part.

It is very hard for me to know America rules, and which one is America slang. Etc.........I mean it is possible to know but need time!

Rejected as a 2nd bac. ~95 TEAS, 4.0 prereq GPA. Not really sure what my overall GPA is because I have transcripts from 3 different schools ?. Not sure if I even fulfilled their admission requirements because I had to ask about 2 course substitutions/transfer possibilities via email, and had to provide course descriptions.

The email I got did say “Unfortunately, you did not satisfy one or more of these admissions requirements or you met the minimum requirements but were not selected for the Fall 2019 BSN program.” Did anyone else’s rejection letter say the same about possibly not fulfilling admissions requirements?

I mean it’s ok. I really would love to get in this semester but I don’t mind taking a few psychology classes during the fall semester and reapplying for Spring 2020. You did really well on math and science!! That’s amazing! No wonder you got in! Keeping a high GPA when English is your second language is impressive! Congratulations again and I really wish you luck in the Nursing program(:

You will get to 2019 fall, many people apply from San Francisco or other place will stay in local if they get to the local school. I will see you in August.?playing for you

I was accepted! However, I was accepted at the CSU I already attend so I will be declining my spot. So this will open up a spot for someone on the waitlist! Best of luck to everyone!

Mine did. I think they all said the same thing. Wow you did great on your teas! I only got one B on my prereqs and an 82.7 on TEAS, but my overall gpa was probably under a 3.0?. What do you have your bachelors in?
