Fresno State Nursing Program (BSN) Fall 2019

I recently applied to several local RN programs, FSU being one of them. Just curious if anyone out there has as well and if you happen to know when we should start finding out if we were accepted. Also any current or alumni, if you don't mind sharing - what were your stats upon entry?

Hi all, I got accepted in the program too. However, I will be declining because I will be attending CSU Stanislaus' nursing program instead since it's closer to home. Hopefully this will give whoever is on the alternate list a chance. I wish you all the best of luck and congrats to whoever got in! My stats is an overall GPA of 3.93, and 4.0 GPA for science and non-science courses; 81.3% on the TEAS.

Hi, I just got put on the alternate list for Fall 2019. Did anyone else get on that list? Does anyone happen to know how likely it is for someone to be accepted from that list?

I called and I was told that the list is small, although they wouldn’t tell me details. Admitted students have a week to accept. From there they’ll go through the wait list and those students will have a week to accept. I’m also waitlisted. I wish you luck!

I’m on the waitlist too! My first email was a rejection, and honestly kind of threw me off because I was aware that this semester was competitive but I did have just one B, and a 87 on TEAS. Time to wait some more haha

I was put on the waitlist as well. I have a 4.0 GPA overall and a 79% on my TEAS. Congratulations to everyone who got admitted!!

I called as well and they told me the same thing. Good luck to you too! It’d be awesome if we could all get in! Hopefully we hear soon. Did the waitlisted people apply anywhere else? I only got 1 B so I’m not sure what my GPA is, but I got an 87 on the TEAS, not sure where this puts me..

Well I’m down but not out, I too got put on the alternative list. I am just praying that enough people will decide to go elsewhere and others can have a spot until then the anticipation continues. I too would like to know how likely it is to get into the program as an alternate? Anyone have any details??
