I just finished my application today! I am glad I checked.. I swear when I last checked after taking my TEAS in January the websites still listed March for application cycle..

Hi I am applied Fresno state as well, I just get one email said received my application! I am a little nervous, I only get Teas 77. What about you guys?

I got a 92 on my Teas, and I have all As and one B in my prereqs (the B is in physiology). To my knowledge, they use GPA as the main determinant of entry and the TEAS is used as a tiebreaker.

I hope the keep use GPA, I have prerequisites all As, overall 3.9. How you get 92? that is good! English is my weakness part. Hopefully see you in fall!

The website still listed March a few days ago, but in nursingCAS said before February 28, did they changed the time for application?

under “Supplemental Application Information”, it lists the Fall admission cycle as between Feb 1-28th, and the Spring cycle as between July 1-31. That information had been like that since January.

under “when do I apply to the major?” While it currently lists the fall cycle as between feb 1-28, it did used to say March 1-31, but this was likely old or incorrect info that they updated to the feb 1-28 date, which is why it still says teas must be completed by March 31st.

AFAIK the only deadline associated with March 31st is the deadline to apply to Cal State’s general student application if you are a 2nd degree student and need a Fresno State student ID/email (which, i think, was needed for the nursingCAS application).

I see the same, somewhere I see February 1 to 28, somewhere says March 1 to 31. After I send my application, I didn’t look again. What is your stats if you don’t mind? Any other schools do you apply? I think they changed the application time from last year, because I remember it was March 1 to 31.

Yeah, it definitely was March last year. I guess they changed it, but it hadn't been changed on all pages which made it confusing. Anyway, good luck everyone!

As far as I know to apply to the major that was due Dec 15, they extended the enrollment period. To apply for the nursing program was Feb 28 for 2019 Fall cohort. I am unsure about previous years as this is my first year applying to FSU. There were some different dates as mentioned, for second degrees but I have not looked into that.

I retook my TEAS on Feb 15 so I submitted my nursingcas that weekend. The first time I took it back in October, I was 37 weeks pregnant and suffering from pregnancy brain as well as just being overall uncomfortable. I got a 79 second time, not the greatest but did not have any time to study unfortunately. I have an overall GPA of 3.8 and all A's in pre reqs except a B in Chem. Hoping for the best!! I also applied for COS, West Hills, and Fresno City although I have already learned I did not qualify for FCC because I took SOC 2 and not SOC 1 and they will not accept it, was kinda hoping they would. LOL. Fingers are crossed for everyone, has anyone else applied anywhere else?

I worry about my Teas score to low, I thought I may retake in February but unfortunately my grandpa fall down went to hospital (he took care of me when I was young we had deep emotional bound). It was a terrible year! I had buy ticket back to my hometown because no body take care of him since my father passed away last year. I applied 8 CSUs but I didn’t get 80 on teas 3 of them gone, then I went to my hometown my grandpa passed away in the same day I feel so bad didn’t want to continue this year. After one month, I came back California and try to continue my application but only Fresno state and Bakersfield list in my nursingcas, I don’t know where I can apply more in case I don’t get accepted. I am in LA, I was want to go Long Beach but I don’t want to retake Teas and waiting another year for something not sure. Fresno state become my first choice now, hopefully see you guys there. I will be happy and move to there if I get accepted.
