Fresno State Nursing Program (BSN) Fall 2019
I used Mometrix to study for the TEAS + notes from class for the Science section. Can’t recommend that book enough. It was a liberal arts degree. So nothing related to biology or the hard sciences. I did finish all the prereqs I needed to apply to nursing programs within a year, at a CC, which were micro/A&P/chem/comm, so maybe they didn’t like that or CC prereqs weren’t competitive enough ?. On the bright side I got into an ADN program for 2020, but I was hoping to start sooner...and the ADN-to-BSN pathway will ultimately force me to pay less for the RN education, since for me it is 15k cheaper than going to a CSU ?. Oh well! I guess i’ll have more time to spend with my nephew while he’s still a cute baby. ? Good luck to you on your own path. Did you apply anywhere else? If you did I hope you got in!

Fresno State Nursing Program (BSN) Fall 2019
Rejected as a 2nd bac. ~95 TEAS, 4.0 prereq GPA. Not really sure what my overall GPA is because I have transcripts from 3 different schools ?. Not sure if I even fulfilled their admission requirements because I had to ask about 2 course substitutions/transfer possibilities via email, and had to provide course descriptions. The email I got did say “Unfortunately, you did not satisfy one or more of these admissions requirements or you met the minimum requirements but were not selected for the Fall 2019 BSN program.” Did anyone else’s rejection letter say the same about possibly not fulfilling admissions requirements?

Tips for studying for TEAS exam
You can move to the next section whenever you want, but once you move onto the next section, you can’t go back.

Tips for studying for TEAS exam
If you finish a section early, don’t rush to continue to the next. Go over uncertain questions, then use the rest of any extra time to relax/sit with your eyes closed/meditate. I essentially had a 30-40 min break (including the official 10 min break) during the test by doing this. Scored in the mid-90s too. I was so relaxed. I was the last to leave too since I took the full testing time to finish, but using your excess test time to rest your brain is worth it IMO. You can also scribble down notes (like area/math equations, grammar rules you struggle to remember on the spot) on your scratch paper during your extra time.

Fresno State Nursing Program (BSN) Fall 2019
Does anyone know what the cost is to attend CSU Fresno’s BSN nursing program? I haven’t been to any informational meetings and I haven’t been able to find anywhere online about the breakdown cost of the program. Thanks for any insights into this!
