Hi and welcome :groupwelcome:
You will need to register with Virginia BON and see what their requirements are for foreign nurses. Some only need CES from CGFNS, you will also need I think Visa screen.
Not able to help you regarding areas you are moving to but good luck on your journey
Hi and Welcome! I am not familiar with the two areas you mentioned. I have been to Virginia/ north, very close´to D.C and really liked it there. You might want to try to ask in the Virgina Nurses forum - will probably get some suggestions there! Good luck and let us know how it goes! :welcome:
If your husband is beign transferred to the US, and is not an American, you will not have a green card, and neither will he. It normally takes about five years to get if you are not a nurse.
Do you already have a green card, and does he?
If you do have one, then the Visa Screen Certificate is not needed for you.
cou cou! bienvenue á allnurses! bonne chance ici aux états-unis...amitié, angélique
please remember that english must be used for all posting on allnurses.com, per the terms of service that you agreed to abide by.
i understand that you are trying to welcome them, but it needs to be done in english.
If i were to choose between Winchester and Charlottesville to work, i'd pick C-ville anyday. It's a beautiful area, there are different places to work, plenty of things to do, and central in the state. Big disadvantages: cost of living (not cheap) and the traffic as a result of UVA.
I agree... Charlottesville is a very beautiful area ! And if you like college students, and the environment that goes along with it, it is indeed the place to be !
Of course you can live outside of town away from the college chaos ! :)
And :welcome: to Allnurses!
