Thank you so much for this. I am not in wis. but i am fixing to take the class. I have tried to take the class before but for many reasons never finished. This time i am going to make it through. So far i have only watched the first lesson but i think this is going to give me a lot of help in it. thanks again
I saw these nursing assistant video lessons somewhere on this site before and was SO happy when I found them. I LOVE having them! They are very useful - but keep in mind that different places do procedures differently. For example, when I was learning about ROM (Range Of Motion) in my nursing assistant class, I looked at these videos about it and found that some of the motions they were teaching were completely different from how we were supposed to be doing it for our state exam. So just keep that in mind. These videos are from the state of Wisconsin and are used for students being taught at both Fox Valley Technical College and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
This is great! I am planning on taking a CNA course but haven't found the time yet (I have a 14 month old). I will be watching these videos so that hopefully I can be VERY well prepared when I do take the class.
Also, it might just be me but I was having audio trouble with Windows Media Player. I downloaded RealPlayer, then pulled up the videos from the website. If you right click a video link then click "Save Target As" you can save the video to your computer and open it up in RealPlayer.
This may have just been a personal problem since I haven't seen anyone else say anything about it. Maybe this will help someone.
Thanks so much for posting this! It seems to have really helped a lot of people!

I've downloaded most all of these videos and found them very helpful!
Thanks so much for posting the link! I'm on the waiting list at my local cc to get my CNA 1 cert; I have not been able to find any training programs in my area. Hopefully these videos will help me get ready for whatever the program entails! If anyone has any advice, please pm me...I'm lost as far as what I need to do with prereqs. The people at cvcc have not been very helpful at all!

The free CNA Video Course is fantastic. I have recently relocated to Florida and had my CNA Certification transfered from Maryland. I needed to refresh my skills and this course is GREAT!
