That's GREAT anna19! I bet that feels great to have that worry "off your back"! I've got to keep on waitin'....but it'll probably be a few weeks before I know.

CONGRATULATIONS, ASHERAH!!! i have been seeing posts from you on and off for the last year or so. glad you're in!!! have a wonderful time in Baltimore! i hope you meet and get to work with Dr. Ben Carson one day. he's an AMAZING human being!!!

Well, I should receive a letter either way in March. They keep pushing back the date. I'm much more calmer about the whole thing. I do have a back up plan just in case. But I really hope I get into my first choice, Harcum. We'll see what happens. It's great reading about all of you who have gotten in. Congratulations! It gives me hope.

I just turned in 1 of the 3 applications to my local schools. I am taking another one down tomorrow and the 3rd I will turn in at the end of the month. Hopefully 4th times a charm... but I am not counting on it.

Hey everyone :) I'm new but have been a lurker for ages. I applied to the University of Oklahoma Traditional BSN and also the Tulsa Community College collaborative program, only about 66 get into the first one and about 21 into the latter, I had a lot of hope but now it is waning, my science GPA is 3.8 and my overall is a 3.7, but I know people who have had a 4.0 in both that did not get in. I'm so worried because I know that not a lot of people get in the first time, I just don't know how they choose people based on 4 little boxes of 500 character responses! Someone console me! lol

Oh, and congrats to all of you who have been accepted, and HANG IN THERE to those of you that haven't :)

I have my four applications in for BSN programs in California...im so nervous! I dont like not knowing where I will be in the fall!! One school I applied at receives 800 applications (so I hear) and they only accept 30-36:uhoh3:! Whew its good to be here where other people understand how it feels! And congrats on everyone that has received their letters already!

Hello everyone. I guess you could say I am extremely patient because i just turned in applications to schools I have been applying to for the past 2 years. This is my 4th time applying for Sacramento City College and American River College. These programs use a lottery system so, yup you guessed it, my lucky number has not been picked yet. I am also on the waiting list at Yuba City College. Good luck to everyone waiting for that almighty letter!

:p:p:p:p:pI FINALLY got my letter yesterday for the BSN program starting in May at University of Mississippi Med Center!! Not much time to prepare but so glad I got in on the first try...I just want to let anyone on these boards know that you don't have to have a 4.0 to get into NS. I did it with about a 3.2, great references, and a kick butt essay. So don't get discourages just go for it!
