Hi! I'm a registered nurse in the Philippines. I really decided to join this website because I have so many questions in mind that is bothering me right at this moment. This is regarding my plans of working in Illinois. I will be taking the CGFNS exam this July. In God's grace to pass, I'm planning to take IELTS exam and apply for an NCLEX examination. I would just like to ask an advice from you if what exam should I take first? Is it the IELTS or apply first to NCLEX? And how many months does this application will be approved by the Illinois BON? Because I've heard from my friends that it will took us a couple of months for our application to be approved by the Illinois BON for us to take the NCLEX exam. Is it true? Thanks ahead for your reply... God bless!!!

To those who endorsed their license to Illinois and used the VSC in lieu of the CES+English Exam, did you send your original VSCertificate to IDFPR and did they return that to you? Thank you!

hi maam, my CES status is ISSUED REPORT. Does it mean that they had already forwarded my report ton IDFR? and will I alo receive a sample report form CES?

Thanks maam MORE POWER!

Typically, how long does it take for the IDFPR to grant an applicant a license through endorsement? Thank you.

Never, ever send the original to anyone. If it gets lost, then you are out of luck for sometime.

It means that they issued a report and it was sent onto the places that you listed on the application for the CES.

Their rep. emailed me that they need that for my application to get approved. They will copy it and mail the orig. back to me. Thanks for the advice.

People normally never send in the original, it is going to be your choice.

If they are going to photcopy and send back the original then why not just send them photocopies?

Never heard of anybody send VSC to IDFPR as proof of English or CES or something else. In my understanding, VSC is only for the visa purposes. But if that is what they are asking for, I would rather have CGFNS forward a copy to them than send your original copy.

I endorsed my licesne to Illinois about a year ago, I had my CGFNS Certificate forwarded to them by CGFNS. It worked for me.

Hi! I just received the original VSC that I sent them.

My thoughts exactly. But I guess they just want to see the original for themselves.

hi maam, i had already mailed my requirements to CTS and already receive my CES report...do i still need to wait for my eligibility or just proceed on paying the $200 on pearsonvue for my ATT? what would be my next step?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! more power!

As a foreign applicant it is better to wait for eligibility in case there are any issues.
