For Fun - Things You Want to Buy Once You're a Nurse

Published

Ok, I know we should be frugal after we graduate and invest in retirement, pay off debt and student loans, etc. However, for a little fun, what kinds of things do you look forward to buying after you graduate and are working as a nurse?

For me: a Dyson vacuum cleaner ($500) and a set of NARS blushes ($200), the best blush on the planet. I've also been fixated on buying a Mini Cooper:

I suspect I'll buy the Dyson and NARS, but the Mini Cooper may just not be a good financial choice.

So what do you all want to buy?

lovehospital, that is really nice of you to do that for your mother.

And I'm going to add a trip to Australia to my wishes too lol.

And oddly enough, I want to purchase an AED for my house. I know it sounds weird but I am a freak about first aid stuff being readily available in the home.

Haha yeah, that's thanks to my CPR teacher telling us that your chance of survival goes way up if you have one and I want my family to have the best chance lol.

well first I would get go to walmart or where ever and buy what I want and not put It back on the shelf because its to expensive. then I would

2nd..buy a decent purse nothing expensive

3rd buy my 3 dogs lots of treats and get them groomed..

4th buy my husband something nice (what i have no clue)

5th oh wait I could buy a pair of new boobs for me does that count for him?

6th Be happy because I am doing what I was ment to do, (and not flipping cards):yeah::yeah::yeah:

I'll be saving up a nice down payment for one of these babies, a Nissan 370Z! By the time I graduate I'll get a nearly-new one from someone who will be ready to sell theirs by that time.

ewww! this is fun...i was laid off in june 07, and i am tired of having no money. while paying all of my bills on time would be a priority i would also...

take a family vacation (we want to go to costa rica to scuba dive!), buy a bigger house, decorate my new house, buy some good make-up again, have a mani, a pedi, a good haircut, some new clothes and shoes that are not related to anything medical, ohh, and maybe a tummy tuck:o)

An Alienware laptop so I can finally game in peace without my computer exploding on me. In my off time, of course.

i am with you on the cosmetic surgery part!! tummy tuck sounds perfect for me... i have the curves, but the last baby has took a toll on my abdomen... and i can add in some perfectly shaped boobs!! a nice lift and some saline would do the trick!!

the vacation is a must... explore the world... and the cruises and trips are not as expensive, they are very reasonable... i would love the scuba thing along with some jet skiiing... although i can do that here in florida, i think somewhere else makes it that much more better...
