Does Anyone Here Knows, How Long Will It Take To Receive The Nclex Eligibility In Florida?
I'm Ready To Send My Application This Week, And I Would Like To Know What's The Time Frame So I Can Schedule Everything Including My Formal Review. Thanks In Advance.
i have finally decided to process my credentials via cgfns and i have downloaded the cgfns ces web handbook. but i have one problem of which type of ces report i should pick. what kind of report would the board of nursing in florida prefer?
should i pick healthcare profession & science report with a fee of $278.00?
i really want to be sure before i pay anything...
thank you again in advance.

all though a little bit more i would suggest the full course would be better
oh? so i need to choose the full education course by course CES report...oh my goodness that's $328! Ok, I think I'll do that. Thank you so much SilverDragon! You've beben a great help! Uhmm..I'll try to post here all my concerns, would that be ok? thank you again.
Your welcome
I know it is a little bit more but if you decide to move to another site and they need CES they may decide that they want to full course and if you hadn't done that one you would have to get it done. Full course is accepted by most if not all boards.
Good luck
oh...so you mean the full education course by course ces report is preferable...but that costs $328...uhmm...ok, i'll choose this option instead. thank you so much for your help silverdragon! you've been a great help.
i'll try furnishing my application then. if i have some concern, i'll post it here. thank you.

ooops, i'm so sorry for the double post. my internet messed up...im so sorry...
I have a question about the institutions I have attended. I don't know what to put under name of diploma or certificate it its original language.
Uhmm...also, let me verify this since I'm a little confused:
Primary: elementary
Intermediate: high school
Secondary: college?
I'm sorry i'm not familiar with these terms. We use elementary, high school and college here in the Philippines. Thank You in advance.

Things do differ. Here in the UK we generally dont have Intermediate our schooling usually is Primary and Secondary Secondary usually takes age 11 upwards. College is usually from age 16 upwards. For institutes I just named them.
Primary usually means first school
Last week, August 28th? Did you actually have a Credentials Eval called the CES submitted as well? FL will not do one thing with your application until they have the CES, if you attended shcool in another country. Do nto remember where you trained, just remember the name.Florida takes several months go give authorization, they are not fast. And expect a few weeks before you will get a confirmation from them.
I am a fresh foregin graduate, Do I need to take my NLE in order to avail of the CES service?
Just to throw a few more things into the pot here:
Florida is now only keeping applications valid for one year from the time that you apply for licensure. This means that after one year if you do not provide them with a SSN#, your file is going to be destroyed.
They also will not permit a foreign-trained nurse to endorse to there if they do not have at least two years of experience in the state where they first got licensed in the US.
They have made significant changes to their requirements in the past month or two, I would suggest having a very good read on things before doing anything with Florida at this time.

According to Florida website they have to have your credential report before your application and give a list of accepted companies, therefore implies that they do not do their own evaluation. The reason I suggest CGFNS CES is that is required by a lot od states and if you move to another state that requires it it will delay your endorcemsnt
