When I went to Florida, I was not paid additional for my CCRN, but I am not paid additional in my home hospital either. I wasn't really looking for pay, just hours and a job. Florida pay however is significantly lower than that of PA and their licensure costs and requirements are the highest I have ever encountered.

$15.00 - 22.00 to start, depending on specialty and locale - in hospitals.
The South Florida (Boca Raton, Miami, Ft.Myers) pay more than those farther North and in the interior (except maybe Orlando/Celebration)

husband is an BSN-RN
$34.00 prn rate plus 15% evenings and 25% midnights....in to the shift differential an additional $6 for weekends.
he wrote his schedule and wasn't mandated to take any particular shifts. never got called off.
when he was full-time the rate was 18-19 per hour.

I sent in my Florida license by endorsement in late February and have already received a temporary license and a letter stating all they need is the endorsement from N.J. Maybe things are improving at the BON.

Also, be prepared for low pay rates in Florida (especially considering how expensive that it is to get licensed). They use the excuse that there is no state income tax, to pay less. Yet a number of Florida facilities were on the "Top 100 Most Expensive Hospitals" list.

I have been waiting since february to get my license transferred from Indiana. I did an online application initially, they sent me the card to have fingerprinting done on in the mail. which I took to police station and had done then sent in with the rest of my paperwork including my physical. last I talked to them they were waiting on my criminal background check. since I have no background as a criminal I would assume it wouldnt take long. It has been over a month. the hospital I applied at has already received a background check. In the meantime no one will hire me to work in a "lesser" position because I will be going to work as a nurse as soon as I get my license. I am ready to give up and go back to Indiana
