  1. 10 cc syringe, so you have the right pressure
  2. What a shame that these nurse forgot what we learn our first year of nursing school.. You should not give a med without an order!!!
  3. I think it is fine to have a family member at the bedisde at all times. However, as we all know a family memeber who nags the staff is going to get a bad reputation and may cause negative feelings among the nurses.
  4. Do not worry!! I graduated in Ohio and took my test in Virginia, I am licensed in Virginia. I had no problem. Do not forget the test is a national exam. Good luck.
  5. This poem is beautiful. Good job, you have a true talent. The poem put tears in my eyes.
  6. I have been working agency for the last 3 weeks, and I think we are treated terrible and the working conditions are unsafe. I say union is the way to go!! I also feel it is very sad to be treated rudely by others in our profession.(staff nurses)
  7. If the patient refuses to have his/her IV removed your only option is to call security. I have seen this happen at the hospital I work at. Definately document everything and inform the physician.

I can not comment on the money, but I know a nurse who worked for Bon Secours and it was terrible.
