Yeah...I've done about 6 interview sessions with programs across the country in the last month or so and they've all reported an extremely high number of applications this year, all in excess of 300, with some closer to 500.

Everyone is exhausted from bedside nursing 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️ and loving the idea one on one care and management of your patient. 

as I was administering a fecal management system in a patient with explosive diarrhea the other day, I kept thinking "man I can't wait until I don't have to do this part of nursing anymore"   Hence the 500 applicant that are probably thinking the same thing as I

I know interview is going to be on May 9th and 10th if selected. Is it going to be the whole full two days though? Or if they are going to let us pick one day? Anybody has any insights?

I imagine that they are going to do two separate days of interviews; in case someone can't make it to one, they attend the other. I could be wrong, though. I would def be available for both just in case.

I just got an interview invite but will be declining so someone else gets a spot. I accepted my first choice program yesterday, so excited to be done with this phase. Good luck to everyone.

Nursing CGPA 3.9

Science CGPA 4

CCRN, ACLS, PALS

Surgical/trauma ICU 1.5 years; CVICU 1 year

Charge nurse, preceptor, committee, and CLABSI unit champion 

Shadow experience 32 hours
