Members are discussing updates on the waitlist movement for a specific program, sharing experiences of getting off the waitlist or being accepted, and asking for advice on the interview process without disclosing specific information due to signing a waiver. Some members are providing general tips for the interview process, such as studying specialty topics, CCRN material, and ACLS protocol.
Here's a thread for those of us applying to FIU's CRNA program for Spring of 2025. Good luck to everyone!

Over 500 applied and ~96 of us got interviews. From there they admitted 55. So essentially if you get an interview you have close to a 50/50 shot of getting into the program.

For those of you who interviewed at FIU last year, can someone please share their experience with their interview style and any tips? Thank you!!
I got accepted last year and I wish we could help but we signed a document saying we can't share anything. But good luck!

Hi I was wandering if you can share your experience for the interview, and don't worry I don't want you to disclose any information since I'm aware they made you sign a waver, as a fellow ICU nurse I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you

Whether we were accepted or not we can't legally say anything about the interview process. Just like most interviews the only advice I can provide is to study your specialty (disease processes, meds, any special interventions), all CCRN material, and ACLS protocol. Good luck to you all!
