Who did you contact for information? I applied in the Summer and havent heard anything. I called and left a message and emailed and ever received a response back

I heard from the program coordinator about my application not being verified. I sent a message yesterday it was verified (error in Nova not sending transcripts needed) and haven't heard anything

I spoke with someone today. They stated they did receive my transcript and it will process in one to two business days. She said she was going to contact transcript entry to expedite my application so it will get verified quickly.

I'm getting discouraged. FIU has reached out several times and I'm having issues with parchment sending my transcripts to. Nursing CAS. they originally only sent my graduate level courses and skipped my entire bachelor degree. They still have to process my transcript entry and I have one reference that accepted but didn't turn it in. the transcript agency stated it may take up to ten business days to process transcripts. just curious, where does everyone live? I am in Palm Beach County in west Lake Worth.

Yes you have to do a supplemental application to FIU. It states it right on the nursing cas. Pay an extra fee for background check as well

Hi everyone! my name is Lisa. I am a CVICU nurse (NeuroSurgical ICU for 1) for 1.5 years. I was also a critical care respiratory therapist for 24 years prior to nursing. I am starting the application process. I live in Palm Beach county and was soley looking to appy to Barry but am also applying to FIU. I know of the extensive commitment this program takes but I am not liking the over hour drive to class. When I spoke to FIU, they stated they structure their class so we are only on campus two days a week, some online, and they accommodate students for clinicals in palm beach county. Does anyone know any information about this? I am studying for my CCRN and taking it in 6 weeks. I have been shadowing a CRNA and although I did take organic chemistry, its an old class but FIU doesnt have a timeline. I heard Barry is considering eliminating the GRE requirement. One of the reasons Barry was my first choice is they have a campus in Palm Beach Gardens and we live closeby. Any information would be great and good luck to everyone!
