I applied online, I am not in FL yet but my license is and I graduated there. I am hoping for ER but will take whatever experience I can get. Altamonte and Winter Park are my ideal locations, Altamonte is a good happy medium because the location is ideal, there is a lot in the immediate area and the housing is decent there. Winter Park is also a really nice area with a good amount of things to do in the immediate area. Both are in the outer areas of downtown so the traffic is not as bad coming or going either. It really is a preference thing. Good luck to you !

Winter park is nice. My sister lived in kissimmee and she loved it.
Kissimmee is nice also, that is where Disney is so I try to avoid all the traffic and crowds of that LOL. You really cannot go wrong wherever you live/work because they're all decent locations, I would suggest to visit the areas because really only you know what you prefer.
Thank you Kelz and Pamie! :)

Hi there :)
I am applying for this time frame as well, and received an email from HR a few days ago for a digital interview. Then yesterday I received the questionnaire (like a personality test) and submitted my references.
I'm really hoping I can get into Mother Baby or Labor and Delivery (dream job ) but would be interested in Med-Surg/Tele, or ED as well.
Congrats! That is great, my status says complete but no e-mail or anything yet...hopefully I hear back soon. But good luck to you! Do you know what location/unit you'll be in yet?
Mine said complete until I was contacted by them, so no worries!
No, what happens is they make your information (resume etc) available to available units at various locations, so now I wait to *hopefully* hear from some units. I also applied to different positions outside of the graduate nurse position so I'm hoping I hear back! I think it could take a few weeks in total so trying not to overthink it. I would love to go to the hiring event but I don't live there yet (I'm from there but we moved away).
Goodluck to you :)
How soon after you applied did you get the email? It has been about a week now, I was hoping by this weekend I would hear back. I applied to the GN programs at Fish and Deland as well and those status say "License/Certification". They were all last updated on the 3rd so I dunno...trying to stay positive though. Keep us posted on your progress though, especially if you have a phone interview, curious as to what type of questions they will ask that are not behavioral.
I applied on May 4th and was emailed for the digital interview the next morning. The digital interview was different than anything I've done. They have questions that you answer while you are recorded and its sent back to HR where they can watch it and decide if they're interested I suppose. I would contact HR one week after submitting your application just to make to touch base with them!
Wow that is interesting. Well good for you! I will have to wait until Monday now and call them. Now I am a little nervous, but I will stay positive.
I imagine they have tons of applicants and hiring processes can take a while so don't be discouraged :) I'm very antsy so get the ball rolling so I know what you mean. Just keep in touch and keep applying :)
do you have your license already? Wondering about that status for you about "license/certification", maybe they're waiting on that?
