  1. For me, HR hung up with me and then called me back (through Skype or FaceTime, whichever we were using) in a conference room where the unit manager came in. I had 2 interviews with FH and one of them I was offered a day or two later and East Orlando offered it to me on the spot at the end of the interview. Everyone ive interviewed with so far has been very kind and personable. The questions are typical behavioral questions, so I was looking examples up and practicing what I would say.
  2. I'm out of state and one location did a Skype interview with me and another, the one I'll be working at (East Orlando), did a FaceTime interview with me. Both times, it was HR first and then the unit managers
  3. Was told they will begin making calls tomorrow to provide more information (for the July cohort)
  4. They asked questions pertaining to how you would carry out the hospital's mission, they wanted you to give an example based on one of their values (provided in the question), what would you do if a patient wanted you to pray with them, what would you bring to FH, stuff like that, and then some multiple choice for where you're interested/what shift you'd like, etc. there were only 11-13 questions total and you record yourself and can rewatch it. You also have a chance to re-record yourself if the first one didn't come out good, before moving on to the next one.
  5. What type of behavioral/situational questions did you guys get in your interviews?
  6. Thanks for the advice! I'm out of state, so they're doing a Skype interview with me. I believe my first interview for Altamonte is just with HR first but my interview for East Orlando is with both HR and the med-tele manager. I feel pretty comfortable interviewing after getting a few other ones out of the way (I was super nervous), so hopefully they like me and I get an offer!
  7. Thank you! It's for med tele for both Altamonte and East Orlando. I really feel like HR has slacked on putting my info out, they put me out for only 2-3 for some reason. But I had a few interviews through Health Central in Orlando and they went pretty well! Im assuming FH will have the typical behavioral interviews, tell me when/what would you do, etc. just ready to get it done
  8. HR from FH called me for two interviews (finally!). I had to do some prodding with them a few days prior to that because my information was just sitting there and nobody had been applying me to any GN positions. Luckily they did after I talked to a few people.
  9. Hi there, so it's been two weeks and everything was at a stand still so I called HR at a few of their locations and asked if their recruiter had received my information yet and it turns out that's what got the ball rolling.. Until I did that, they hadn't been putting my info out for GN positions so I'm waiting to be called by unit managers now. Health Central in Orlando also takes new grads btw, not sure if you're currently looking
  10. When did you apply and get an interview? I'm asking everyone and comparing it to my situation (probably shouldn't do lol) because I went through the HR process and been told to wait to be contacted by unit managers but I haven't heard anything yet .. I'm getting nervous lol
  11. Can I ask when you applied and were interviewed? I have completed the HR process and am currently waiting to hear from unit managers for an interview.
  12. Can I ask how you started a conversation with her? With the GN position, I'm not exactly sure who to call because idk who and what location is taking GN's, but if I called, idk what to really say! That's really cool though, sounds like it worked out really well
  13. Do you remember approximately how long it was between the time HR finished their part with you and the time you were contacted by a unit manager? I spoke to HR and they said they have all of my information and her part is done, and now I just wait to hear from a unit manager. I've read that in the past people could see on their account which jobs their information was applied to but I don't see that for me.
  14. I called this morning and left a voicemail, but the voicemail said she was at the hiring event (which I wasn't able to attend, which makes me nervous). I applied to other positions outside of the residency and got denied for a portion of them so far. Just trying to stay optimistic!
  15. Have you heard back from HR? I haven't had anything new ..
