Florida hospital new grad program for ADN

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hello everyone,

I am a new grad ADN and I just recently applied for the Oct/Dec new grad program at Florida Hospital. I am beyond anxious because I want the opportunity so desperately but I am aware that they prefer BSN nurses. I did indicate on my application that I was currently enrolled in a BSN program, I wonder if that will make any difference. Did anyone recently get accepted or know of someone who got accepted with their ADN?

I'll be graduating with my ADN and this is a concern of mine, and am too interested in their new grad program so I'm looking forward to seeing what others have to say and their personal experiences.

Best of luck to you!

I recently applied for the new grad program too; also have my ADN and FL RN license. Im very nervous! Does anyone know how long it usually takes before you hear back?

I'm desperately hoping someone will respond that is in the program with a ADN

I also applied and I have an ADN.

Hey! I'm in the GN program with an ASN. However, I do have a BS in a health related field. I also know another with an ASN with no other degree that is in the program. There is hope! :)

How would you rate the program? I have an interview scheduled for 8/20/2014. I also have only a ASN degree, but i'm in the process of enrolling in a BSN

@mo16 That is so good to hear THANK YOU! How is the program so far? Which area are you in...and please share any tips!! @CruzanNurseRN When did you apply? any tips? I am still under initial review. I want to get in sooo bad. Please share with us how your interview goes.

I applied on July 25. They sent me the pre-screen questions last week. My interview is next week. I applied for the previous class but never got called, I think because i applied to late. For this program they sent me an email telling me when it would be posted so I applied right away. I have 2 interviews next week :-) Good Luck

Yea, I was hoping to get in but was passed up for the opportunity. I have an ASN in nursing, RN license and a B.A. in crim and psych.

Best of luck to all those that get in :nurse:

Igot REJECTED for the second time. I can't imagine why! What are your GPA's to those of you who got in? Anyone know any other hospitals that I can apply to that will hire new grads?

Hi Jennifer, sorry about your situation. When one door closes another opens. Just keep looking ok?

If this is your real name, please change it to a user name instead. It is in your best interest not to use your real name or photos. Good luck with your future job hunt! :nurse:
