FLASHCARDS...don't waste your paper!

Instead of using a million index cards, use a sheet of paper!.... take a regular sheet of paper, fold it in half...write the question or term on one side (number them), and the answer (number them too) on the other. When studying, flip the folded paper back and forth like you would a flashcard. If you do it wisely, you could get 101 questions out of each sheet of paper. (p.s. if writing questions, you may use more than 1 line for the question and/or the answer)

I prefer flash cards due to their portability and ease of organizing. I also find they're better for focusing on one concept at a time or returning to something specific I want to review. This might be a good idea when you just need to memorize something quickly, though. To each their own :)

If you really want to save paper, try the app Quizlet. I'm a big flashcard person. This app works wonders for me!

An alternative to normal flashcards are websites like Quizlet that already have millions of flashcard sets from other people made and are ready to use. Plus that have an app, so as long as you have a tablet or phone, your good to go. Just some food for thought. :cat:

Quizlet is fine, but I like the app Anki better. And all its features are totally free. You can do note cards from mobile and your PC

Great idea for the 50s. Now we have electronics

I love that if you need a flash card quizlet probably already has it. Especially for vocabulary. I did make a few myself for electrolyte unit and for meds I see in clinical. But otherwise i use quizlett.
